Genesis 6-7

“Yahweh was sorry that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him in his heart.” Genesis 6:6

7. Describe the world at that time and the Lord’s response

The degeneration of the human race was proceeding rapidly, in spite of a few godly men such as Enosh, Enoch, and Noah.3

Yahweh saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of man’s heart was continually only evil. Genesis 6:5

Son’s of God—

[This term] may mean godly men of the line of Seth as opposed to Cain’s godless descendants, superior men such as kings, or angels who rebelliously left heaven to take women as wives—not human men) took any of the beautiful daughters of men they wanted as wives. This latter view has interpretive difficulties but seems the most likely. It also serves to reinforce the pre-Flood evil in the world, for God abhors interbreeding of unlike species.4

. . . “Every plant which my heavenly Father didn’t plant will be uprooted. Matthew 15:13

You shall keep my statutes.

You shall not cross-breed different kinds of animals.

You shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed;

Don’t wear a garment made of two kinds of material. Leviticus 19:19

You shall not sow your vineyard with two kinds of seed, lest all the fruit be defiled, the seed which you have sown, and the increase of the vineyard. Deuteronomy 22:9 (emphasis added)

Jude mentions angels who turned to sin.

And I remind you of those angels who were once pure and holy but turned to a life of sin. Now God has them chained up in prisons of darkness, waiting for the judgment day. Jude 6 (Living Bible)
