1 Corinthians 15:35–58.

9. The glorious resurrected body

An infinite variety of bodies adapted to live in the different environments of land, sea, air, and the heavens already exists. Is a resurrection body so incredible then? (SFLB) (affiliate link)

The resurrected body

—Will never die or decay

—Powerful instead of weak

—No deformities, or imperfections, although Jesus still had the scars from the nails and spear.

—Spiritual body, no longer a natural body

—Unlimited capabilities, not bound by the laws of nature (Luke 24:31, 24:36-37) (Enduringword.com)

Jesus ate food and looked like an ordinary man, but he could appear and disappear at will. He also passed through locked doors.

—We will be like Jesus. (1 John 3:2)

10. God’s plan for his people

Inherit the kingdom of God

No disease, injury, or decay

The bodies of the final generation will transform into immortal bodies without dying.

Those who died will come alive and change.

11. “Death is swallowed up in victory.” (v. 54)

God “gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (v. 55)

God is not unfair: he will not lose sight of all that you have done nor of the loving labour which you have shown for his sake in looking after fellow-Christians (as you are still doing). (Hebrews 6:10 Phillips)

What a joy to know that as believers, we receive grace in this life and victory in death.
